STAMPD
Connecting brand, merchandising and creative to build a premium e-commerce experience.
Digital Creative Director · 2017–2018
At STAMPD, my role extended beyond creative direction into the commercial side of the business. I led the digital customer experience while working across seasonal buying, merchandising, inventory planning and launch strategy—using performance insights to inform what we bought, what we pushed and how products were brought to market.
Translating a premium brand into a premium shopping experience.
I joined while a redesign of STAMPD’s e-commerce platform was underway and helped lead it through launch, working closely with the founder and team to translate the brand’s point of view into the digital experience. Product presentation, styling, merchandising and UX were considered together—balancing brand expression with the practical requirements of conversion and usability.
Managing inventory without diluting desirability.
I participated in seasonal buying decisions, using historical sell-through and category performance to help determine DTC inventory depth. Once product reached the site, I monitored depletion and used availability, launch cadence and strategic restocks to help preserve scarcity around the brand.
For STAMPD, commercial optimization couldn’t come at the expense of perception. The goal wasn’t simply to keep every SKU available or rely on promotions to move inventory. Working with the founder, we managed the assortment to reinforce the sense that desirable product was limited and worth acting on.
Building the creative system around the product calendar.
I led a small internal team across design, photography and project management while directing external production for seasonal campaigns. Each collection became an integrated customer experience across campaign imagery, lookbooks, social, e-commerce and launch communications.
My role was to translate the seasonal design direction into a commercial narrative—determining how the product should be styled, photographed, sequenced and presented while keeping creative production aligned with inventory and business priorities.
Bringing a cultural collaboration to market.
For STAMPD’s collaboration with BAPE, I helped translate the partnership into a coordinated launch spanning campaign production, press and media, in-store activation and e-commerce. I directed the supporting content and customer-facing rollout while coordinating how and when the product became available online and at STAMPD’s Los Angeles store—turning the collaboration into a focused brand and commercial moment.
